Cookies Policy
The cookies we set, what each one does, and the controls you have over the non-essential ones.
This page tells you what cookies are, which ones Marinios IPTV drops on mariniosiptve.online, and how you can switch the optional ones off any time you like. For the bigger picture on how we look after your personal data, our Privacy Policy covers the rest.
1. What a cookie actually is
A cookie is just a tiny text file your browser saves when you visit a site. It lets us remember small things — like the language you picked or whether you've already dismissed a banner — so the site doesn't keep asking you the same questions on every page.
Some cookies disappear the moment you close the tab (those are "session" cookies). Others stick around for a set time or until you delete them yourself ("persistent" cookies). That's the whole story.
2. Why we set them
We keep things short. We use cookies to:
- Make sure the site loads and works the way it's supposed to (essential).
- Remember the cookie choice you made last time so we don't ask again.
- See which pages people read and which ones they skip, so we can fix the boring ones (analytics).
- Show you Marinios IPTV offers on other sites if — and only if — you've said that's okay (marketing).
3. The cookies we use, sorted by job
Essential cookies
These have to load for the site to work. Without them the pricing toggle stops responding, the trial form won't submit, and the mobile menu won't open. There's no opt-out for these — they don't track you, they just keep the lights on.
| Cookie name | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
cookie_consent |
Saves the choice you made on the consent banner | 1 year (localStorage) |
Analytics cookies
We run Google Analytics so we can tell which pages get read and which ones get bounced from in three seconds. The data comes back grouped and anonymous — we can't pull your name or address out of it, and we wouldn't want to.
| Cookie name | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
_ga |
Google Analytics — tells one visitor apart from another | 2 years |
_ga_* |
Google Analytics — keeps track of the current session | 2 years |
Analytics cookies don't drop until after you click "accept" on the banner. If you decline, they never load.
Marketing cookies
If you opt in, we use marketing cookies to show Marinios IPTV ads on other sites you visit and to measure how those campaigns are doing. These don't fire by default. They only switch on after you accept marketing cookies on the banner — and you can pull that consent back any time using the reset button below.
Third-party cookies
If you click through to a payment provider like PayPal or Stripe, those companies set their own cookies on their own pages. We don't control them and we can't see what's inside. Their cookie pages are the right place to read up on what they do.
4. The controls you have
The first time you land on the site, a small banner asks whether you're cool with non-essential cookies. Whatever you pick, you're not stuck with that choice forever — you can change your mind whenever.
Reset your cookie choice
Hit the button below. Your saved preference gets wiped and the consent banner pops up again on your next page load.
Use your browser's own controls
Every modern browser lets you block, clear, or limit cookies straight from its settings. Here's where to find it:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Options → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data
Heads up: if you block every cookie across the board, parts of the site (and most other sites you visit) won't behave the way they're supposed to.
Turn off Google Analytics everywhere
If you'd rather opt out of Google Analytics on every site at once — not just ours — Google publishes a free browser add-on that handles it for you.
5. When this page changes
If we add a new cookie, swap providers, or the rules in your country shift, we'll update this page and bump the date at the top. Worth a glance every few months — you'll know what we're using straight away.
6. Got a question?
Drop us a line on our contact page and someone from the team will get back to you inside 48 hours. No bots, no ticket numbers — just a real reply.
